Logan Tapp tapped in 25 points for Midkota Saturday to secure a 63-59 win over Griggs County Central. Jacob Johnson joined Tapp in the double digits with 10 points while Jory Boote and Breck combined for 17 more.

Hunter Gronneberg headed up the GCC scoring with 20 at the basket. Tanner Haugen chipped in another 14 and Jonah Ringstad added 12 to the scorebooks.

The Midkota High School girls basketball team topped Griggs County Central 63-42 Saturday afternoon. The 21-point game was led by Midkota's Brenna Anderson who racked up 17 at the hoop. Hunter Peterson was recorded as the team's second-leading scorer with 12. The Mustangs shot for 21 from the field and three beyond the arc.

Asia Bercherl put up 16 for GCC while Jenna Larson tacked on 15 for the Cougars. The team shot for 18 field goals and posted 4 of 17 from the line.

Kidder County's nearly 50-point win over Enderlin was headed up by Brittany Rath with 19 points. The Wolves defeated Enderlin 71-19 Saturday. Rath was joined at the basket by Madelyn Schmidt who racked up 15 points while Hailey Pfaff shot for 12. The team shot for nine beyond the arc.

Enderlin's Kaylie Schlecht led the Eagles with nine at the hoop. Schlecht converted a trio of shots from outside the arc, tallying the team's only 3-pointers.
