Following Jamestown High School's six-point loss at Dickinson last Friday, the Blue Jays fell from No. 1 to No. 3 in the latest Class A boys basketball statewide media poll released Wednesday.

Fargo Davies (16-1) shot to No. 1, receiving 16 of 17 first-place votes. Jamestown (13-2) received the other first-place vote but came in two points behind West Fargo Sheyenne (15-1) for second in the poll.

The Blue Jays host No. 5 Minot (12-5) on Friday at 7 p.m.

Class A's only undefeated basketball team, the Devils Lake girls, remain atop the Class A girls basketball ranking.
