Kidder County's Hailey Pfaff was unconscious Tuesday night in Steele.

The senior forward converted an impressive eight 3-pointers in a 79-40 victory over the visiting Strasburg/Zeeland Clippers. Pfaff buried four triples in a 31-point opening quarter for the Wolves, en route to five 3-pointers at the break and three more in the third quarter.

Pfaff also sank 1 of 2 at the foul line for a game-leading 25 points. Senior all-state guard Madelyn Schmidt tossed in 22 for the home team.

The Wolves (6-1), who received votes in this week's Class B girls basketball media ranking, are at Enderlin (2-5) on Friday. Strasburg-Zeeland (1-9) hosts Linton/HMB (7-1) on Thursday in Strasburg.

LLM will wrap up the equivalent of the Barnes County tournament at top-ranked Enderlin (7-1) on Thursday, while the Spartans (3-5) play at Barnes County North (1-6) in Leal.

The Tornadoes' Steele Hansen (27 points), Garret Meehl (23) and Ashton Biesterfeld (18) had little issues offensively. Jaxcen Glatt paced the Imperials scoring 12.

Cardinals boys basketball outscored the visiting Griggs-Midkota Titans 7-1 in overtime to improve to 4-5 on the season.

Leading scorers were Hudson Schmitz (22 points) for Carrington and Tanner Haugen (18) for the Titans.

The Titans (2-6) host Stutsman County tournament champion Ellendale (6-1) in Glenfield on Friday. Carrington (4-5), having defeated Griggs-Midkota for the second time in three days, is at ninth-ranked and unbeaten Central Cass (7-0) on Thursday.
