Barnes County North boys basketball sailed past Finley-Sharon/Hope-Page 59-50 in Leal on Thursday night.

BCN's Max Fehr scored 11 of a game-high 26 points in the fourth quarter, helping the Bison extend a four-point lead after three quarters to nine at the finish line. Fehr knocked down four field goals and 3 of 4 at the foul line in the final frame.

Tucker Brown nailed three 3-pointers for the Bison and scored 18 points. Landon Koenig scored 17 to pace the Spartans.

BCN improved to 2-6 overall and will host Edgeley/Kulm/Montpelier (6-1) on Tuesday.

A combined 18 points from Jada Henningsen and Kali Norton was enough for Ellendale girls basketball to sneak past Edgeley/Kulm/Montpelier by one point at home.

Ellendale (4-6) led 28-23 after three quarters and managed to hold to win its third game in a row and fourth in its last five games. The Cardinals will host Medina/Pingree-Buchanan (5-1) on Saturday at 2:30 p.m.

The Rebels, conversely, have lost three in a row and travel to Barnes County North (0-8) on Tuesday.
