Medina/Pingree-Buchanan's Rylen Wick helped the Thunder break a 32-32 tie after three quarters Thursday night in Glenfield.

The 6-foot-3 freshman buried a 3-pointer and scored seven of 16 total points in the final frame in a 44-43 Thunder victory over Griggs-Midkota. The home team went 5-for-7 at the foul in the fourth, which played big on the scoreboard.

Josh Moser scored a game-high 21 for the Thunder, while the Titans received 19 points from Tanner Haugen.

The Titans (2-9) host Hatton/Northwood (6-5) next Thursday in Cooperstown. The Thunder (4-4) host Maple Valley (3-4) in Pingree on Tuesday.

Ryleigh Martin poured in a game-high 21 points Thursday in Pingree, leading Medina/Pingree-Buchanan to a 24-point victory over visiting Barnes County North.

The Thunder started strong, holding the Bison to nine first-half points. The visitors were led by Ashely McFadgen scoring 10.

The Thunder host South Border tomorrow (Jan. 22) in Medina, while BCN hosts Napoleon/Gackle-Streeter.

Strasburg/Zeeland's Jake Wagner scored 21 points Thursday night in Strasburg to lead the Clippers over Napoleon/Gackle-Streeter by 19.

Wagner scored eight in the final frame to help the home team outpace the Imperials 18-7 over the final eight minutes. Trenton Erbele scored a game-high 23 for NGS.

The Imperials (4-8) travel to Leal tomorrow (Jan. 22) to play Barnes County North (2-7). The Clippers (8-3) are scheduled to be back in action on Jan. 28 for a second meeting against the Imperials in Napoleon.

The fourth-ranked Linton/HMB girls basketball Lions bounced back from Tuesday's loss to No. 1 Central Cass with a 62-35 victory over the Cardinals in Ellendale on Thursday.

The Lions held the Cards to seven first-half points. Linton/HMB's Erica Umber led the way scoring 18 points.

A big District 6 clash is scheduled between the Lions (10-2) and Kidder County (8-1) tomorrow night (Jan. 22) in Linton. Kidder County came in 11th in the latest Class B girls basketball top 10 media ranking this week.

Ellendale (4-9) is scheduled to play at Griggs-Midkota (3-9) on Tuesday in Cooperstown.
