Eighth-ranked Ellendale boys basketball rolled past what appeared to be a short-handed Strasburg/Zeeland team on Thursday night in Ellendale.

Scott Wagner (15 points) and Riley Thorpe (15) led the way for the Cardinals.

The Clippers slip to 11-7 overall and will host Wilton/Wing on Saturday in Strasburg to close the regular season.

Ellendale travels to Linton on Saturday to play the 15-3 Linton/HMB Lions. The Lions are coming off a 77-76 win Thursday hosting Oakes, a game in which University of Jamestown basketball commit Lucas Schumacher buried the game-winning shot from half-court as time expired in Linton.

Linton/HMB was just outside the top 10 in this week's Class B media ranking as the first team receiving votes.
