FARGO — North Dakota State rushed for 453 yards and averaged more than 10 yards per carry to roll to a 49-26 victory against the Montana Grizzlies on Saturday in the second round of the NCAA Division I FCS playoffs before 12,929 fans at Gate City Bank Field at the Fargodome.
The Bison (10-2) had four rushing touchdowns of at least 68 yards against the Grizzlies. Senior running back Kobe Johnson rushed for a career-high 206 yards and two TDs to lead the dominating ground game. NDSU running back TaMerik Williams added 101 rushing yards and a TD on 11 attempts.
