Jamestown High School freshman Chea Baugh qualified for the 100-yard butterfly A finals at the girls swimming and diving state meet on Friday in Bismarck. Baugh touched eighth in the preliminaries with a time of 1 minute, 1.45 seconds.
JHS senior Kenzie Carlson qualified for the B finals in both the 50 freestyle and the 100 freestyle. Carlson was 11th quickest in the 100 (56:49) and 13th in the 50 (25.60).
Blue Jay eighth-grader Allysah Larson touched 17th in the 100-yard backstroke in 1:04.84. The state meet wraps up today.
