The Carrington High School wrestling team proved itself again as one of the top overall programs in the state this weekend.

The defending state champion Cardinals made it to the championship match of their home dual tournament, where they handled Class A Minot 44-22.

Tate Hoggarth (113), Billy Holtan (160), Bridger Anderson (182), Riley Lura (195) and Bradee Schroeder (285) came away with pins in the win.

Brady Davis (138), Bryce Carr (145) and Walker Carr (152) also earned victories.
