Carrington’s Seth Nelson has signed a national letter of intent to play basketball for the Bismarck State College Mystics beginning next season, the college announced Wednesday.
Nelson, a 6-foot-5 forward, is a two-time all-state Class B basketball selection, receiving first-team honors as a senior in 2019-20. He was named the District 5 and Region 3 senior athlete of the year.
Nelson averaged 23.9 points, 11.3 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 3.5 blocks per game his senior season. As a sophomore, he helped lead the Cardinals to the 2018 state Class B tournament as the champions of Region 4.
