Lisbon's Jarrett Carter celebrated his 27th birthday in style Saturday at Jamestown Speedway.
He won a four-lap shootout over Jamestown's Scott Bintz to claim his second WISSOTA Midwest Modified trophy of the season and his first in Jamestown.
Carter and Bintz finished 1-2 on Friday night at Brown County Speedway in Aberdeen with Bintz getting the win. But on Saturday it was Carter's turn, who won last year's B-Mod track championship at Jamestown Speedway without recording a feature victory.
It was Bintz's second straight second-place finish at home.
"It feels good to get one this early," Carter said. "We've got a new car and we've been trying to learn it. It's been coming on strong."

Carter started fifth and used the low side of the track to overtake Pettibone's Jim Morlock, the pole sitter, for the lead to complete lap No. 5. Bintz started fourth and was also closing in on the lead until a slight bobble in turns three and four opened the door for Carter.
A total of seven caution flags were displayed, as just 16 of the 24-car feature field went the distance in the 20-lap race. Carter was pulling away from Bintz until the final yellow with four circuits remaining brought the field back together.
With two to go, Bintz dove to the bottom in corner No. 4 and drew even with the leader, but Carter was able to survive the attack and hold on for the win. Carter also won at Lisbon's Sheyenne River Speedway on May 31.
"I saw (Bintz) down there a couple of times," Carter said. "I knew he'd be tough with some traction on the bottom. He's always tough down there."
Morlock finished third, while Carrington's Preston Carr shuffled from ninth to fourth and Fargo's Joey Rowell rounded out the top five.
"You definitely couldn't make any mistakes. We were getting a little tight at the end," Carter added. "We were better on the long run and we had a lot of restarts there.
"I was glad to see the checkered."
