Kidder County's all-state senior performer Paige Schmidt piled up 20 points at Barnes County North on Thursday, helping the Pirates defeat the Bison 48-32 in Class B girls basketball.

Kidder County's all-state senior performer Paige Schmidt piled up 20 points at Barnes County North on Thursday, helping the Pirates defeat the Bison 48-32 in Class B girls basketball.

She was complemented by 15 points from sophomore Grace Benz. The Pirates moved to 2-0 on the young season.

Jayda Haugen dropped in 12 points to lead BCN.
