The LaMoure Loboes boys' basketball team jumped out to a commanding 30-8 lead by the half and defeated Oakes 62-36 in LaMoure on Tuesday.
Gaige Dunn led LaMoure in scoring with 18 points, while Wade Aberle racked up 12 rebounds and Aaron Stemen finished the game with nine assists and eight boards. Brett Hample chipped in with 13 points for the Loboes.
Oakes was led by Jason Hagen with 18 points.

Girls L-M-M 55, Valley City 50
Valley City held L-M-M scoreless in the first period and led 23-19 at the half, but the Rebels stormed back in the second half to take down the Hi-Liners by five points on Tuesday.
L-M-M's Carly Van Bruggen hit four three-pointers and led the Rebels with 18 points, while Sophie Miller tossed in an additional 13.
The win improved L-M-M's overall record to 8-5.
