Class B Roundup: Cardinals nip Loboes in LaMoure

Ellendale's 6-foot-7 Scott Wagner was limited to 13 total points, while Riley Thorpe hit three 3-pointers and scored a game-high 14 points. Landon Piehl (11) points and Max Musland (9) each hit a trio of 3-pointers for the home team.

The Loboes dropped to 8-4 and host Carrington on Jan. 29. Ellendale (9-1) upped its winning streak to seven games heading into today's tilt (Jan. 23) in Carrington.

Adam Schepp poured in a game-high 24 points Friday night in Carrington to help the Velva Aggies defeat the Cardinals 65-49.

Hudson Schmitz scored 19 points for the 5-7 Cardinals, who will host Ellendale today (Jan. 23) at 7:30 p.m.

Ryleigh Martin (12 points), Isabell Schmidt (11) and Brittney Reister (11) all reached double figures for the Thunder. MPB is scheduled to host Kidder County (8-2) on Monday in Medina.
