SIOUX CENTER, IOWA — The University of Jamestown scored two goals in the second half to extend its winning streak with a 2-0 victory Wednesday, Oct. 19, on the road at Dordt University. With the victory, the Jimmies are now on a nine-game winning streak.
The Jimmies (11-4-1, 10-0-0) opened the scoring in the 55th minute when Kamryn Fiscus scored to make it 1-0. The Jimmies added another goal with 12:41 to go when Emersen Kimball threaded the needle to Gaby Sarkis who managed to stay onside to send it past the Defenders’ (10-6-1, 6-4-1) goalie Jenna Wright to make it 2-0.
The Jimmies are back in action at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, when they host the College of Saint Mary.

Men’s road struggles continue
The University of Jamestown’s road struggles continued with their trip to Dordt University. The Jimmies' moved to 0-6 on the road with a 4-1 loss on Wednesday, Oct. 19, against the Defenders.
It didn’t take long for the Defenders (8-2-6, 6-0-4) to break through as Blake Hansen chipped the ball past Jimmies goalie Myles Ragar to make it 1-0 with 38:48 to go in the first half. Hansen added two more in the half before the Jimmies (5-11-1, 2-6-1) fought back. The Jimmies' goal came after two poor clearance attempts from the Defenders allowed the ball to find Axcele Bietghe who volleyed it home to cut the deficit to 3-1 with 17:28 to go in the first half.
Hansen scored his fourth goal midway through the second half to push his team’s lead out to 4-1.

The Jimmies are back in action at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 26, when they go to Dakota Wesleyan University.
