Jimmies basketball games vs. Morningside on Dec. 15 postponed

Both Jimmies teams were entering the game on winning streaks.

JAMESTOWN — Due to the weather, the University of Jamestown men’s and women’s basketball games against Morningside University scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 15, at Harold Newman Arena, have been postponed. The school announced that no makeup date has been scheduled.

The Jimmies men’s basketball team was coming into the game with a 10-2 overall record, after an 87-67 win over Mount Marty on Dec. 10. The Jimmies women’s basketball team was coming into the game with a 9-2 overall record, coming off an 81-50 win over the Lancers on Dec. 10.

The Jimmies are scheduled to go to Morningside on Friday, Feb. 10, with the women up first at 6 p.m., followed by the men at 7:45 p.m.

The Jimmies men’s basketball team is scheduled to return to the court at 8 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 16, when they face Dickinson State. The Jimmies women’s basketball team plays at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 18, when they host Dickinson State.
