Katie Conlon continues her winning ways, albeit on a different continent.

The 11-time All-American in cross country and track and field at Jamestown College, won the Lap the Lake -- Penrith Lake Half Marathon in Sidney, Australia Oct. 1.

Conlon, who will graduate from Jamestown College in December, is studying at the University of West Sidney in Penrith, New South Wales as part of JC's International Student Exchange program.

Conlon finished three minutes ahead of runner-up Wendy Bock. Conlon won in a time of 1 hour, 22 minutes and 46 seconds.

Conlon is training independently during her semester in Australia and has one semester remaining to compete potentially at an NCAA Division I university.

She also recently competed in a 9 kilometer race and finished 11th out of over 16,000 runners, finishing in a time of 34:41.
