Devils Lake elevation, June 7: 1,451.73 feet above mean sea level (msl).
Stump Lake elevation, June 7: 1,451.5 msl.
N.D. Game & Fish Dept. Dist. Game Wardens: Jamestown Reservoir has a steady walleye bite using Lindy rigs in 8 to 16 feet. Devils Lake improving for walleye. James River producing northern pike in the New Rockford area and elsewhere along the river. The Red River improving with the river stable to dropping in elevation. Catfish and walleye are responding to lower elevations. Try working off the snags with cut goldeye or suckers. The Sheyenne River from Valley City to Lisbon through Kindred and West Fargo remains high but some low head dams and rock rapid areas are producing walleye. Small lakes and reservoir still producing bluegill above and on the edges of the weed lines, but weeds are increasing. Missouri River remains fair with most activity around Washburn or up in the honey hole. Lake Sakakawea improving slightly for walleye with fair success on east end. Mid-section remains quiet.
Devils Lake, C&M Bait, Black Tiger Bay, Devils Lake: Fair for eater-sized walleye. Look for improving success with stable weather. Try 10 feet or less using jigs and leeches. Access road is usable.
Devils Lake, Ed's Bait & Tackle, Devils Lake: Continued fair to good for walleye, northern pike, and white bass. Move deeper during the day in 10 to 15 feet using slip bobbers and jigs. Better success remains towards evening.
Devils Lake, Lakeview Lodge, Devils Lake: Continued fair to good for walleye. Work shallow along the weed beds using crankbaits or slip bobbers with live bait. White bass spotty with most activity around East Bay. Northern pike remain fair to good.
Devils Lake, West Bay Resort, Minnewaukan: Continued good walleye success. Try slip bobbers and leeches along the weed beds in 6 to 7 feet. Some random success in deeper water. Best bite seems to be in the evening, including shore-fishing.

Devils Lake, Woodland Resort, Creel Bay, Devils Lake: Continued good for walleye in 1 to 3 feet using crankbaits or soft plastics. Also try slip bobbering in the trees. Work shallow for white bass and northern pike, as well.
Jamestown Reservoir, Dan's Sooper Stop, Jamestown: Fair to good for walleye.
Jamestown Reservoir, Pioneer Bait Shop, Jamestown: Continued fair to good for walleye with some nice-sized northern pike mixed in. Better success from boat than shore. Some activity on small area lakes but no reports.
Lake Ashtabula, Bayshore, Valley City: Continued improving walleye success with good smallmouth success, including whopper-sized bass from shore. Perch success improved considerably. A few crappie starting to show up but limited white bass. Lake elevations back to normal pool.
Pipestem Reservoir, Dan's Sooper Stop, Jamestown: Fair to good for walleye.
Pipestem Reservoir, Pioneer Bait Shop, Jamestown: Some activity but limited reports.
Red River, Riverkeepers, Fargo: River levels are dropping and back at more seasonal levels. Lots of activity with fair fishing success.
Spiritwood Lake, Dan's Sooper Stop, Jamestown: No reports.

Spiritwood Lake, Pioneer Bait Shop, Jamestown: Fair for smallmouth bass with a few walleye mixed in.

Baldhill Creek, Dazey: Streamflow, 85 cfs; creek stage, 7.04 feet.
James River, Grace City: Streamflow, 91 cfs; river stage, 5.38 feet.
James River, Jamestown: Streamflow, 1,120 cfs; river stage, 8.84 feet.
Pipestem Creek, Pingree: Streamflow, 39 cfs; creek stage, 5.31 feet.
Red River, Fargo: River stage, 16.2 feet.
Sheyenne River, Cooperstown: Streamflow, 468 cfs; river stage, 11.18 feet.
