BISMARCK (AP) -- Former Bismarck High and University of North Dakota standout Weston Dressler has been named to the Canadian Football League's Western Division all-star team.
The slotback caught 62 passes for 941 yards and four touchdowns in 14 games during his second season with the Saskatchewan Roughriders.
Dressler missed the last four games of the regular season after breaking a leg and dislocating an ankle on Oct. 10. He was fourth in the CFL in receiving yards at the time he went down. He still finished 11th in the league in receiving yards and 16th in receptions.
Dressler last season was named the CFL's outstanding rookie, after catching 56 passes for 1,128 yards.
