The Jamestown Elks got a combined 5-hitter from PJ Pina and Boya Quichocho in an 11-0 win over the Jamestown Tarnos Wednesday night at Jack Brown Stadium.
The Elks improved to 5-2 with the win, scoring seven times in the top of the fourth to put the game out of reach.
Nick Meehan led the Elks' 12-hit attack, collecting three hits and scored three times. Tim Spivey had a pair of hits and also crossed home three times. Dave Sauter added a pair of knocks for the Elks, who play in a tournament in Wahpeton this weekend.
Levi Gaunska was saddled with the loss for the Tarnos.
