Blue Jay middle school football camp
Football camp for Jamestown Blue Jay middle schoolers will be held this Monday through Wednesday (June 25-27) from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Ernie Gates Field.
Players who don't yet have equipment (seventh-graders) will need to be at the Jamestown Middle School starting at 4:30 p.m. Monday to receive equipment. Those players are asked to go to the north doors and downstairs to the locker room. Eighth-graders will need to pick up their equipment by 6 p.m.
Camp registration sheets are at the middle school. Registration begins at 5:30 p.m. on Monday at Ernie Gates Field in the "Shack" at the south end of the field.Coach Bill Nelson can be contacted via email at William.Nelson1@k12.nd.us for questions.
Hillcrest men's day winners
Alden Kollman was the winner of the mystery game during men's day activities Thursday, June 21, at Jamestown's Hillcrest Golf Course.
Closest to the pin honors went to Doug Wahl on Hole 7 (19 feet, 5 inches) and Hole 8 (3-3), Glenn Johnson on Hole 15 (16-0) and Matt Burgard on Hole 17 (1-2). Harry Ambers dropped in the longest putt on Hole 10 (33-7).
Terry Davis made the closest second shot on Hole 14 (5-6.5) and Scott Miller picked up the door prize.
