Senior spotlight: Bison defensive end Greg Menard
Q: Who is your favorite cartoon character?
My favorite cartoon character is probably Static Shock. I just thought he was really cool, flying around on his little saucer when I was a kid.
Q: Who is your celebrity crush?
I would have to say my celebrity crush is Natalie Portman. I've just been obsessed with her ever since I saw her in Star Wars when I was young and it's carried through to other work she's done.
Q: What is your favorite sports movie?
My favorite sports movie is probably "Remember the Titans" just because it's a classic.
Q: What is your favorite television show to binge watch?
My favorite television show to binge watch is "Game of Thrones." I've watched a whole season in one day before.
Q: If you could choose one superpower, what would it be?
The superpower I would choose is to be able to read minds. I feel like you could do so much with it and just kind of gain a upper hand in life.
Q: Who has the best hair on the team?
Definitely me, definitely me. I got the best hair.
Q: What is your favorite social media platform?
I think Twitter is probably my favorite just because there's so many funny memes and funny things that I have no idea how people thought of on there.
Q: Who is the best dresser on the team?
I think probably Jabril Cox is the best dresser on the team. He always shows up places looking fly.
Q: What is your favorite sports memory?
I think probably my favorite sports memory is beating Iowa at Kinnick (Stadium). It was just so incredible. My mom went there and my dad went to Iowa State so I kind of knew the area really well. I'd always grown up hating the Hawkeyes so it was just really cool to do that.
Q: If the Bison football team was asked to appear on the Family Feud, what four teammates would bring along for that?
I think I'd bring Stanley Jones, Aaron Steidl, Caleb Butler and then Easton Stick. I feel like we'd have a good diversity there and we can kind of get the wide range of answers that you could find on Family Feud because anyone can guess the top answers. You need kind of some random guesses to get the lower answers that are kind of less common.
