Bill Nelson's Blue Jay football team's convincing 20-7 win over defending state champs, Bismarck St. Mary's, shifted some things in this week's release of the North Dakota Associated Press Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association (NDAPSSA) media poll.

Jamestown picked up all 14-first place votes in this week's Class A football poll. The Jays have recorded 70 points and are 3-0 on the year. The west schools were well represented this week with Bismarck St. Mary's earning the No. 2 spot and Dickinson winding up in the No. 5 spot. Devils Lake and Fargo North were No. 3 and 4 this week.

Bismarck Century still remains on top of the Class AA teams, garnering all 14 first-place votes. West Fargo Sheyenne got the No. 2 spot this week.
