After a disappointing 17-14 loss to Mandan on Oct. 8, Jamestown fell to the No. 2 spot in the latest release of the North Dakota Associated Press Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association (NDAPSSA) media poll.

Defending state champions, Bismarck St. Mary's, received nine of the 13 first-place votes. The Saints (6-1) have earned 61 points, edging out Jamestown (5-2) by five points. Fargo North (5-2), Wahpeton (4-3) and Dickinson (3-4) rounded out the NDAPSSA's top-five picks.

Bismarck Century has remained untouchable this season in Class AA. The Patriots picked up 11 first-place votes while West Fargo Sheyenne, also 7-0, claimed the remaining two. Century was the only West Region team in the top-five this week. Fargo Davies, West Fargo and Fargo Shanley were this week's No. 3 through No. 5 picks.

No other Class AA teams received votes this week.
