Erin Hart is making the most of her final year at Jamestown High School.
The senior has emerged as one of the top swimmers in the state in a variety of events, and on Saturday, at the Minot Pentathlon, she continued to shine.
Hart took the 100 backstroke and finished runner-up in three events as she won the all-around points competition against some of the West Region's top swimmers.
"That was her goal, to go in there and win it," said Jamestown coach Ben Smith. "She made sure she was ready to compete."
Hart finished with 80 total points to help Jamestown to a second-place team finish.

Minot's Courtney Funk finished second with 71.5 as the Majettes took the team title.
Alex Lind continued to rewrite the record books on Saturday by setting another pool record on the diving board with a score of 451.55.
"She just wants to make sure she stays focused," Smith said. "Obviously her main goal is to do it at state, but she has some smaller tests along the way and she's been doing really well."
Annie Hart, Erin's sister, exceeded her top-10 goal by finishing fifth all-around with a total score of 56.
"She did really well," Smith said. "Her goal was to place in the top 10. ... She had a great day."
Annie Hart finished less than three seconds behind Erin Hart in the 100 backstroke to place second.
Smith said he was also impressed with Kamie Wagar's performance throughout the day as she nearly eclipsed the top 10 by placing 12th all-around. Wagar finished with 28 points.
"Kamie did awesome," said Smith. "She got hurt a couple weeks ago and she came back this weekend and did a great job."
