Jamestown College will welcome alumni and friends back to the campus for Homecoming 2011 Friday and Saturday. The popular Street Fair runs from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. The Jimmies will take on Mayville State at 1 p.m. Saturday in the Homecoming football game.
Friday
Jamestown College's Science and Math Symposium begins with presentations at 9 a.m. and continues throughout the day in the Reiland Fine Arts Center's DeNault Auditorium.
The Jimmie Booster Club luncheon begins at noon in the Nafus Center L2. Cost is $6 at the door. Coaches will provide updates on their seasons, and Jimmie fans will have the opportunity to meet some student-athletes.
A team of alumni will take on the 2011-12 Jimmie baseball team in the Alumni Baseball Game at 3:30 p.m. at Jack Brown Stadium.

The Jimmie cross country teams will host the Jimmie Invitational at 4 p.m. at Hillcrest Golf Course.
The Science Symposium keynote address by Dr. Kerstin Leuther begins at 5 p.m. in DeNault Auditorium.
The Jimmie basketball alumni games will take place at 6 p.m. (women) and 7:30 p.m. (men) at Jamestown Middle School.
The Jamestown College Department of Music will present a Homecoming Concert at 7:30 p.m. The Wind Ensemble will begin the concert in DeNault Auditorium, and the Choirs will follow in Voorhees Chapel. A pre-concert reception will take place at 7 p.m. in the Reiland Fine Arts Center Lobby.
An alumni and friends social will begin at 8:30 a.m. at Gladstone Inn & Suites. All alumni and friends are welcome to attend.
Saturday
Saturday begins with the Homecoming Run/Walk/Relay at 8 a.m. starting from the Larson Sports Center (YMCA). The cost to participate is $15 ($20 day of race) with proceeds going to the men's and women's cross country and track teams. Current Jimmie Janes will serve breakfast for Jimmie Jane Alumni at 8:30 a.m. in the Nafus Center.

The Hall of Fame Breakfast begins at 9 a.m. in the Nafus Center L2. Jamestown College Athletic Hall of Fame inductees Rick Hack, Bonnie (Pfannsmith) Freije, Andy Wade and Cory Mantyka, plus Rollie Greeno Award recipients Larry Knoblich and Dave Tews will be recognized. Cost is $8 at the door.
The Street Fair will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Allen Field Commons. Enjoy food, games, arts and crafts while strolling outdoors. Admission is free; costs at each booth may vary.
The Jamestown College Bookstore will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The Homecoming football game begins at 1 p.m. A free chili feed will follow the game at Shady's in downtown Jamestown.
