The Great Plains Athletic Conference has announced Tuesday's GPAC conference tournament baseball championship game between the University of Jamestown and Concordia University (Neb.) has been moved to 1 p.m. in Yankton, S.D. The GPAC made the announcement via Twitter.
The May 7th title game was originally scheduled to be played at 6 p.m. in Seward, Neb., the home of Concordia University, but the GPAC stated the weather forecast for that area on Tuesday prompted the move. The single, nine-inning baseball game between the Jimmies and the Bulldogs will take place at Bob Tereshinski Stadium at Riverside Field, the home of Mount Marty Lancers baseball, and will determine the conference tournament champion.
Both Jamestown and Concordia have already qualified for the NAIA National Championship Opening Round beginning May 13 at various campus sites around the country.
