Davis Koppinger of Minot, Tyler Davis of Craig, Colo., Sergio Garcia of Denver and Kevin Sexton of Arlington Heights, Ill., have signed with the University of Jamestown men's basketball team.
Koppinger averaged 18.6 points, 6.9 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.5 steals per game for Our Redeemer's High School. The 6-foot-2 Koppinger was a two-time all-area and all-region player. He tied the single-season scoring record and broke the rebounding record at Our Redeemer's.
"Davis has a tremendous amount of athletic ability which will transfer nicely into the college game," said UJ head coach Alan Magnani. "He plays the game hard and has a very good work ethic."
He is the son of Doug and Melissa Koppinger.
Davis, who goes 6-1, 180 pounds, was a three-time all-conference player and was named all-state in 2013 and '14 after averaging 12.1 points, 4.1 assists, 3 rebounds and 3 steals per game. He finished with 989 career points.

"Tyler had a great high school career," Magnani said. "He has a good understanding of the game and is a nice addition to our program."
The son of Billy and Valerie Davis, he plans to study business.
Garcia, a 5-11, 155-pound guard, was twice named to the All-Denver Prep League team. He was a three-year starter at Thomas Jefferson High School and averaged 8.5 pounds, 4.3 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 2.2 steals last season.
"Sergio possesses great court awareness and is an excellent passer," Magnani said. "Once he adapts to the college game, he has a chance to be a quality point guard for the Jimmies."
The son of Martha Garcia and Sergio Garcia Sr., he plans to study accounting.
Sexton, a 6-foot guard, is transferring to UJ from Harper College (Ill.). As a sophomore, Sexton averaged 12.3 points, 4.4 assists and 2.2 rebounds per game. He earned second-team all-conference and all-region honors and led the NJCAA in free throw shooting percentage (86.7) and was 10th in three-point percentage (44.7).
"Kevin adds experience and depth to our program," Magnani said. "We like his versatility in that we feel he can play all three perimeter positions for us.
"Kevin will be a very good fit for how we play. He is both a quality student and basketball player."

He is the son of Brian and Christine Sexton. He plans to major in communications.
