Hanna Dunnigan and the University of Jamestown softball team shutout ninth-ranked Morningside (Iowa) 4-0 on Sunday in Leavenworth, Kan.
The Jimmies went 3-1 over the weekend in Leavenworth. Jamestown (16-12) is at Yankton, S.D., today for a doubleheader against Mount Marty College.
Dunnigan, a senior from Regina, Saskatchewan, gave up just three hits to Morningside in recording her fifth shutout of the season and 10th of her career.
Freshman Mikayla Frost picked up four singles, while scoring twice and driving in a run, during a 4-for-4 game at the plate. Dunnigan became the first pitcher in UJ softball history to make her 100th appearance during the game.
Jamestown won 10-6 in eight innings over the University of Saint Mary (Kan.) Spires earlier in the day. Dunnigan had a pair of doubles and Emma Keller homered in the contest.

The Jimmies pounded out 18 hits. Keller earned the win after pitching the final four innings.
On Saturday, the Jimmies split with the Spires 2-9 and 3-0.
Frost went 2-for-3 with a run in the Jimmies' seven-run loss. Dunnigan allowed five earned runs on seven hits.
The Jimmies scored once in the sixth and twice in the seventh to blank the Spires 3-0. Brittany Rheault recorded a two-hit shutout, the West Fargo native's first of the season.
Frost raked three more singles (3-for-4) from the leadoff spot. Dunnigan doubled twice.
