Two all-conference players from Canada have signed with the University of Jamestown baseball team.

Tanner Banks and Dylan McKenna each earned all-league nods in helping Prairie Baseball Academy in Lethbridge, Alberta to the CCBC championship. It was the fifth straight conference crown for Prairie Baseball Academy.

Banks, of Taymouth, New Brunswick, hit .337 in 30 games. A right-handed hitting outfielder, Banks had 12 runs batted in, 25 runs scored and 12 stolen bases.

McKenna, from Cornwall, Prince Edward Island, posted a .337 batting average with 26 RBI in 32 games. A left-handed hitting infielder, McKenna doubled 11 times, swiped seven bags and scored 21 runs.

"We are very excited that Tanner and Dylan have chosen to become Jimmies," University of Jamestown head baseball coach Tom Hager said. "They come from a very successful program and we really look forward to working with them over the next few years."
