After more than 30 years Kensal High School finally got a new scoreboard.
"It was harder to find parts for (the old scoreboard)," said Kensal High School principal Matt Lokemoen.
The total cost of the scoreboard was $4,400 but most of the cost was covered by donations from Vining Oil & Gas, Dakota Central, Unison Bank and Otter Tail Power Company. A business wanting to remain anonymous is close to donating the remaining $400, Lokemoen said.
"It's a good quality product," Lokemoen said. "It does a great job. It does things we couldn't do before. Hopefully it lasts another 30 years."
The new scoreboard will be able to work with basketball, volleyball, archery tournaments and various youth tournaments.

Kensal also installed a new hardwood floor six years ago.
