Jamestown High School received 15 out of a possible 17 first-place votes in the latest Class A boys basketball media ranking released Wednesday.
The Blue Jays (2-0) hold down the top spot over West Fargo (3-0), which received the other two first-place votes and moved from third to second following Tuesday's nine-point victory over Fargo Davies.
Jamestown has defeated both Bismarck Legacy and Bismarck St. Mary's to start the season and will travel to play No. 4 Minot on Tuesday. The Magicians are unbeaten at 4-0, last defeating winless Watford City 104-29.
