MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- The Minnesota Lynx say guard Candice Wiggins has undergone surgery to repair a ruptured Achilles' tendon in her left leg.
The team says the surgery was performed Friday. Wiggins will be out for the rest of the season.
She was hurt with 8 seconds left in Tuesday's game at New York.
In eight games this season, Wiggins averaged 13.8 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.1 assists. She missed the first six games with a torn meniscus in her right knee.
