Win No. 12 came easy for the Jamestown Miller Lite Merchants on Wednesday, beating the Moorhead Spartans 9-0.
Greg Lunski carved up the Spartans, recording 12 strikeouts in just five innings to get the win. Lunski, Blake Eller and Jared Purdy combined for 20 strikeouts and gave up just five hits.
Bryan Erstad led the Merchants offensively, going 3 for 4 with four RBIs and a double. Jeff Gould added a pair of RBIs.
The Merchants, now 12-4, open the Wahpeton tournament today at 9:30 a.m. against the Midway Snurdbirds.
