BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) -- North Dakota's state treasurer has been elected by her peers to serve as president of the National Association of State Treasurers.
Kelly Schmidt says she's honored.
Her one-year term begins on Jan. 1. In addition to her duties as president, Schmidt will host the association's 2011 annual conference in Bismarck.
