TORONTO (AP) -- The Minnesota Wild took advantage of the lackluster Toronto Maple Leafs.
Mikko Koivu scored one goal and assisted on two others in the second period as the Wild ended the Maple Leafs' two-game winning streak with a 5-2 victory Tuesday night.
Marek Zidlicky broke a 1-1 tie at 5:44 of the period. Then, 26 seconds after Koivu beat Jonas Gustavsson at 17:29, Greg Zanon made it 4-1.
Niklas Backstrom made that stand up with 37 saves for the Wild (7-10), who also got goals from Martin Havlat and Owen Nolan into an empty net to win for the fourth time in five games. Minnesota won in Toronto for the first time (1-4) since joining the NHL in 2000-01.
The Wild were 2 for 4 on the man-advantage.

"We were an opportunistic group," Wild coach Todd Richards said. "You get on the power play, especially a 5-on-3, you have to score and we were able to score."

ST. LOUIS -- David Perron scored three goals, two in a span of 1:54 during a four-goal first period, and Brad Boyes added a goal and three assists to lead the St. Louis Blues to a 6-1 victory over the Vancouver Canucks.

CHICAGO -- Chauncey Billups hit the go-ahead free throw with six-tenths of a second left and Denver beat Chicago 90-89 after a potential winning jumper by Brad Miller was overturned following a lengthy replay review.
Billups was fouled on a drive and then intentionally missed the second free throw after making the first to break the tie. Chicago's Joakim Noah grabbed the rebound.

MIAMI -- Dwyane Wade scored 41 points and Miami remained in first place in the Southeast Division. It's the second time Wade scored at least 40 this season, both against Washington.

DALLAS -- Jason Terry scored 24 points, Erick Dampier had 14 points and 20 rebounds, and the Dallas Mavericks overcame an early 17-point deficit to beat the Houston Rockets 121-103 on Tuesday night.
The Mavericks went on a 22-3 run that started late in the first half and helped them bounce back after a sluggish start.
