LaMoure's American Legion Post 19 baseball team scored 27 runs while winning two games in Linton on Wednesday.
Post 19's Aaron Stemen pitched all seven innings in the opening sectional contest, allowing 7 runs on 9 hits while striking out 7 and walking 5 in a 17-7 win for LaMoure.
LaMoure's Chad Limesand and Gaige Dunn each hit a home run in the game, as five LaMoure players had two or more hits in the ball game. Cole Gentzkow led LaMoure's 15 hit attack going 4-for-5 at the plate with two doubles, four runs scored, a stolen base and 2 RBIs.
Post 19 hung a 6 on the scoreboard in the top of the first inning, remaining undefeated in sectional play at 4-0.
LaMoure improved to 8-2 overall with a 10-9 victory in the nightcap.

Limesand notched the victory, after relieving LaMoure starter Tanner Carlson in the top of the first inning. Linton scored 7 runs in the first to take a 7-4 lead, but LaMoure answered back with 5 runs in the fourth.
