MANDAN, N.D. — The Jamestown Blue Jays hosted Minot High School in a match that was moved because of the weather and could not end their skid on Thursday, May 11, at the Mandan Tennis Courts.
The first match of the day saw the Magicians’ Halle Mattson get a straight-sets win over the Blue Jays’ Hana Lang. The Blue Jays’ closest set came in the next match as Mylee Michel lost 0-6, 1-6 to the Magicians’ Sienna Ronning.
The Blue Jays (0-6) won two sets in doubles against the Magicians (9-0) as the team of Lang and Roberts lost to the Magicians’ Kylie Fetting and Sabryn Ronning 0-6, 1-6. The other set win came in the next match as Michel and CeCe Maulding lost to the Magicians’ Sienna Ronning and Sidney Ressler, 0-6, 1-6.
The Blue Jays return to the court at 2 p.m. on Friday, May 12, when they go to Fargo South.
