Ellendale flies past Linton
The Ellendale Cardinals continued their undefeated season with a 63-55 win Tuesday, Feb. 8, over the Linton/Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock Lions.
The Cardinals (15-0) scored 46 points in the second half to pull away with the win. The Lions (10-6) were held to seven points in the first half.
Scott Wagner led the Cardinals with 23 points.
The Lions' leading scorer was Grant Bosch with 15 points.

LaMoure gets win over E/K-M
The LaMoure/Litchville-Marion Loboes outscored the Edgeley/Kulm-Montpelier Rebels 19-5 in the fourth quarter Tuesday, Feb. 8, to get a 55-44 win.

Carrington holds on for win vs. Oakes
The Carrington Cardinals boys basketball team used an 11-5 second quarter to hold on to a 50-49 win Tuesday, Feb. 8, over the Oakes Tornadoes. The Tornadoes (5-9) outscored the Cardinals 18-14 in the fourth quarter to claw their way back into the game.
Lucas Hendrickson and Hudson Schmitz combined for 34 points to lead the Cardinals (7-8).
The Tornadoes' leading scorer was Trey Skoglund with 12 points.

Third quarter powers Griggs-Midkota to win over BCN
The Griggs-Midkota Titans boys basketball team was down 25-21 to the Barnes County North Bison going into the half Tuesday, Feb. 8. In the third quarter, the Titans (4-11) sprinted out of the gates, outscoring the Bison (2-13) 20-9 on their way to a 56-44 win.
The Titans’ Carter Spitzer led all players with 20 points.
The Bison were led by Will Schwehr’s 13 points.
