The Jamestown High School boys wrestling team held its annual end-of-the-year awards banquet on March 13.
The JHS wrestlers who received awards were Jackson Walters, Eric Levin, Colton Mewes, Preston Gall, Aden Braun, Bo Nelson and Damien Cross.
Head coach Larry Eslick and the Blue Jays wrapped up the Class A 2021-22 wrestling season on Feb. 19 with a fourth-place finish in the state dual tournament.
The fourth-seeded Blue Jays knocked off the East Region's top-seeded West Fargo Sheyenne before falling 42-25 to Minot in the semifinals and 44-25 to Dickinson in the third-place match.
As a team, the Blue Jays finished as the individual state tournament runners-up with 149.5 team points.

Braun and Mewes were state champs in their respective weight classes. Grady Anderson and Walters were named state runners-up in the 132 and 170-pound brackets.
