The Jamestown High School soccer team ran into another high-scoring West Region outfit on Saturday and the results showed.
Minot scored five first-half goals en route to a 9-1 home win over the Blue Jays, who finished the regular season winless.
P.K. Annan led the attack for the Magicians with a first-half hat trick, including the ice-breaker in the ninth minute. Annan went on to score Minot's third and fourth goals of the half.
The Blue Jays got on the board in the 69th minute when Jaden Horsted scored for the second time in three matches. The tally was unassisted and made the score 8-1 Minot.
The Magicians scored the final two goals of the day.

Luke Allen was peppered in goal, but finished with 15 saves for the Blue Jays, who will be the No. 8 seed for the West Region tournament, beginning Friday in Mandan.
