JHS boys soccer falls to Century

Jamestown High School lost 8-0 to Bismarck Century in boys soccer Tuesday night at Rotary Field.

Century, ranked No. 1 in the WDA preseason coaches' poll, sent 19 shots on goal in the first half and led 5-0 after 40 minutes. Blue Jay freshman goalkeeper Jay Kupitz made 23 total saves in the match.

The Blue Jays host Crookston (Minn.) Thursday at 5:30 p.m. After three 80-minute matches to start the 2018 season, Jamestown (0-2-0, 0-1-0 WDA) is minus 18 in goal difference.
