University of Jamestown men's soccer couldn't contain visiting Ben Becker on Sunday at Jimmie Turf Field.

The junior forward for NCAA Division III Saint John's University (Minn.) tallied three goals, included the game-winning boot in the 96th minute of a 3-2 overtime victory for the Johnnies. The loss dropped Jamestown to 1-1-0 after two matches to open the college soccer season.

Becker put the Johnnies ahead 1-0 in the 35th minute, but back-to-back goals by the Jimmies had the orange and black leading 10 minutes into the second half. Sophomore Ruben Zepeda scored his third goal of the season for Jamestown in the 44th minute and Aaron Pike gave the home team a 2-1 advantage in the 55th.

But Becker was just warming up. The Saint John's standout buried goal No. 2 early in the 73rd, eventually forcing overtime and his final tally, which was assisted by Johnnies' goalkeeper Nicholas French. The Johnnies improved to 1-0-1.

French finished with three saves, while Jamestown goalkeeper Jake Askew made four saves. The Jimmies travel to Billings, Mont. this weekend to face College of Idaho (Sept. 8) and 17th-ranked Rocky Mountain College (Sept. 9).
