NUMBER ONE: Blue Jay boys ranked first in Class A poll

Soccer ties Sabers

Jaden Christ scored a trio of goals Tuesday to help Jamestown High School boys soccer to a 3-3 draw with Bismarck Legacy at Sanford Sports Complex in the Capital City.

The junior forward and Sabers' Theodore Seidel went back and forth for the first four scores of the contest. Christ gave the Blue Jays a second-half lead, until Legacy's Dayton Deics buried the tying goal.

Max Kupitz and Matt Morin each had an assist in the match, while goalkeeper Jay Kupitz saved nine shots.

Jamestown will host Minot at Rotary Field on Tuesday, Sept. 11, for a 7:30 p.m. kickoff.
