The North Dakota Associated Press Sportscasters and Sportswriters (NDAPSSA) released the most recent editions of Class A and Class AA football polls on Monday evening.
With a tough 34-6 loss to Valley City, Jamestown dropped below the No. 2 mark for the first time this fall. Monday marked the second time Valley (7-0) earned the No. 1 spot in the Class A poll. The Hi-Liners were the unanimous favorites this week, picking up all 19 first-place votes for 95 total points.
Grand Forks Red River was the No. 2 pick this week while Jamestown (5-2) landed in the No. 3 slot.
The Blue Jays will be on the road this Friday at West Fargo Horace. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
Fargo South and Fargo North rounded out the top-five Class A teams this week. Wahpeton (4-3) was the only other Class A team to receive votes this week.

In the Class AA poll, there was no real clear favorite.
The fifth pick, Minot, was the only top-five team that was not awarded a first-place vote.
Members distributed 11 first-place votes to West Fargo Sheyenne while Mandan the poll's No. 2 pick came out with five first-place votes. Shanley picked up two votes while the fourth team, Fargo Davies, was awarded the last vote.
Bismarck Legacy was the only Class AA team to receive any other votes this week.
