Sport shorts: Kindred, LaMoure/LM top prep football polls

The first NDAPSSA Class B 11-man and 9-man football polls were released Wednesday evening.

In his final season with the Jimmies, Shekeryk was named an All-Conference honorable mention.

The North Dakota Associated Press Sportscaster and Sportswriters Association released its first official Class B 11-man and 9-man football polls Wednesday evening.

Kindred garnered 11 of the 15 first-place votes for 66 total points while Langdon/Edmore-Munich racked up the four remaining votes for 61 points.

Hillsboro/Central Valley, Central Cass and Velva/Drake collected the final three rankings. All nine teams that received votes hold an undefeated record at 9-0.

LaMoure/Litchville-Marion and Cavalier held the first and second spots in the 9-man poll. LLM picked up all 15 first-place votes for 75 points.
