Meghan Ford, a senior at JHS, won her third consecutive Western Dakota Association title at the WDA Cross Country Championships held in Bismarck on Oct. 10. Ford was named the 2020 NDHSCA-POWERade Outstanding West Region Senior Athlete in the sport of Girls Cross Country.

Jamestown High School senior Ben Anteau earned All-WDA honors at the WDA Cross Country Championships. Anteau set a new personal best by covering the 5000-meter course in 15 minutes, 37 seconds.

Jimmies' Holen and Mang earn AOW honors

Anna Holen led the Jimmies to a 3-0 road week defeating Presentation College, Dakota Wesleyan University and College of St. Mary’s. Holen filled the stat sheet with 36 kills, 55 digs, seven rejections at the net and a pair of aces. Holen earned a total of 45 points.

UJ junior Noah Mang placed eighth at the Jimmie Invitational Cross Country meet on Friday. Mang ran the 8000-meter course in 30:56.

Blue Jays ranked in latest cross country poll

Meghan Ford topped the North Dakota coaches cross country poll for the eighth consecutive week. Ford earned her third WDA title at the WDA Regional meet in Bismarck on Oct. 10.

On the Blue Jay boy's team seniors Ben Anteau and Gavin Haut were ranked fourth and eighth in this week's poll.
