Amateur baseball at Jack Brown
North Dakota amateur baseball action at Jack Brown Stadium resumes Saturday, June 27, with the Jamestown Elks playing the Mayville Redcaps at 7 p.m.
On Sunday, Tolna will play the Carrington Independents at 1 p.m., followed by the Jamestown Greyhounds vs. the Carrington Independents at 3 p.m.
Frank earns Gatorade honor
Grand Forks Red River senior Shelby Frank has been named Gatorade North Dakota girls track and field athlete of the year, The Gatorade Company announced Thursday, June 25.
This is the third consecutive year she's won the Gatorade award.
Frank has won four North Dakota Class A girls discus titles and two shot put crowns. She won the 2019 New Balance Nationals Outdoor in the discus with a toss of 155 feet.

Frank has signed to compete in women's track and field at the University of Minnesota.
