Katie Falk, a sophomore on the Jamestown High School varsity volleyball team helped the Blue Jays win a pair of conference matches this week. Falk swung for 14 kills and put up a trio of blocks at the net. In the back row Falk popped up eight digs and tallied an ace.

Schmitz, Pike scoring for Jimmies

Nicole Schmitz, an outside hitter for the University of Jamestown women's volleyball team, tallied 24 kills last week, 18 of which came against the team's four-setter against Midland. The freshman, out of Oakes, North Dakota posted a 0.274 hitting percentage and made four blocks at the net.

Aaron Pike, a junior for the UJ men's soccer team, scored a pair of goals in the Jimmies' 4-2 win over Dordt University.
