Hanna Dunnigan fired a no-hitter on Saturday, but the University of Jamestown ace pitcher had nothing to show for it.
The Jimmies committed nine errors in a 2-0 loss to Dickinson State despite Dunnigan holding the Blue Hawks hitless.
Dunnigan did not walk a batter and struck out six.
The Jimmies rebounded to win the second game 3-2 in Dickinson.
Brittany Rheault earned the pitching win with four solid innings. Dunnigan got the last nine outs to earn the save.
The Jimmies were limited to five hits.

Dunnigan was at it again on Sunday, helping the Jimmies shutout the Blue Hawks 5-0 in Dickinson. Tifani Schorzman had a pair of hits and drove in a pair for the Jimmies.

Jamestown split the nightcap, falling 9-2. The Jimmies (24-14) will be at Presentation College for four games starting Saturday.

Baseball

Mark Kane had four hits, four runs batted in and a home run as the Jimmies and Blue Hawks split on Saturday.
Kane connected for a two-run shot in the sixth as the Jimmies won the opener 9-2, banging out 12 hits. Taichi Sasaki went 4-for-5.
Jerome Byndloss tossed seven innings on the mound, allowing just one earned run with six strikeouts.
The Jimmies were held scoreless until the top of the seventh in game 2. Ryan Absher allowed just three hits in six-plus innings as DSU prevailed 4-3.
Kane had two hits and Sasaki collected his fifth knock of the day.

Jamestown split a second doubleheader against the Blue Hawks in Dickinson on Sunday. The Jimmies won 13-7 and lost 1-0.

The Jimmies hung 10 runs on the board in the fourth inning of game 1. Scooter Turin belted a 3-run home run in the inning, while Kaleb Binstock and Sasaki each posted a three-hit game.

Jamestown was unable to churn out any offense in the finale, posting just four hits as UJ pitcher Chase Thometz struck out eight through six innings. Dickinson's Jacob Cuch drove in the game's only run in the fifth with a single.

The Jimmies (23-11) travel to take on the University of Winnipeg for five games starting Friday.
